Early Intervention Family Services
These services support healthy parent-child attachment and development to prevent emotional, behavioral, and psychological problems for children under age six and their caregivers.
Interventions can help with scary or painful events, loss, separations, medical procedures, abuse, and violence at home or in the community - helping families recover and heal after stressful or traumatic events. Interventions are respectful of family and cultural values. EIFS assessment results in access to early mental health services. It supports early education evaluation, intervention, and referral for possible Occupational, Physical, and Speech and Language assessments and Therapy intervention to help a child’s development.
