Internship Opportunities
At CMMHC, we recognize the value of how continued education and on-the-job training can enhance an individual’s career. Our client-facing programs host interns from many disciplines, such as social work, family therapy, counseling, psychology, and nursing. We appreciate our community partners and enjoy hosting interns from various educational institutions and hospitals. CMMHC is happy to play a role in the educational needs of future mental and chemical health staff at several academic levels.
To be eligible for placement, students must:
- Be degree-seeking in an accredited program in social work, psychology, nursing, counseling, advanced practice medical professional, or other behavioral health-related programs.
- Receive educational credit toward the above-identified degree(s).
Potential internship opportunities include:
Internship opportunities are occasionally (but not always) available in Adult Day Treatment, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Chemical Health Services, Outpatient Therapy (Adult & Youth), and School-Linked Mental Health (SLMH). Internships occur during the fall, spring, and summer semesters in alignment with school schedules. All internships are unpaid positions.
