Clinical Trainee: Masters

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity for a Full-Time Clinical Trainee in our Buffalo Outpatient Mental Health (OPMH) Department. The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for treating clients with emotional, behavioral and mental disorders within a family driven and trauma informed framework. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide therapy to individuals, family and groups in an outpatient setting
  • Perform diagnostic assessments to determine a recipient’s eligibility for mental health services
  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations and rapid screen needs of clients

The wage range for this position is $23.5577-$28.27. The starting salary for each application will be based on years of experience for the position.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Working towards licensure as an LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT
  • Two years’ experience in outpatient therapy is preferred
  • Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Is at least 18 years of age

Office Support – Buffalo

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity for a Full-Time Office Support in our Buffalo Office. The Office Support position is an administrative job with responsibility for multiple support functions. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Exceptional customer service
  • Greet Clients and Visitors
  • Answer Multi-line telephone and direct calls
  • Schedule Appointments
  • Verify insurance and collect copays and fees
  • Office and Client support
  • Flexibility to cover hours outside of normal shift is required

The hours for this position are: Monday 8:00am to 5:30pm, Tuesday 11:00am to 8:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am to 5:30pm, Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.

The wage range for this position is $15.00-$15.60. The starting salary for each application will be based on years of experience for the position.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 year degree in medical office administration or equivalent experience preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Mental Health Professional

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity in our Buffalo Outpatient Mental Health (OPMH) Department for a Full-Time Mental Health Professional/Outpatient Therapist.  We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who has a passion for person-centered, recovery-based mental health work with those experiencing significant mental health and co-occurring disorders.  The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing mental health services within a trauma informed framework.  The duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Consistently demonstrate clinical competence and professionalism by effectively providing mental health therapy and diagnostic services to individuals and families in an outpatient setting.
  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations and rapid screen needs of clients.
  • Collaborate with social workers, outside agencies, and other care providers to provide integrated care to clients.

The starting salary for each application will be based on degree level, licensure, and years of experience for the position. The wage range for a Mental Health Professional is $57,000-$74,400. The wage range for a Mental Health Professional – Medicare is $60,000-$95,000.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology or Master’s Degree in Social Work
  • Doctoral level LP or LICSW
  • Medicare Eligible Provider preferred
  • Two years’ experience in out-patient therapy is preferred
  • Experience and training in evidenced based practices and with SPMI populations
  • Specialties in Early Childhood, Co-Occurring Disorders, and/or Couples and Families preferred
  • Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Is at least 18 years of age
