Mental Health Professional- School Linked Mental Health: 

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity for a Full-Time Year Round Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee in our School Linked Mental Health program. This position will provide clinical services in the Sartell Schools. The SLMH (School-Linked Mental Health) Therapist will provide mental health services primarily in a school setting. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Consistently demonstrate clinical competence and professionalism by effectively providing mental health therapy and diagnostic services to children and their families.
  • Consistently demonstrate professional behaviors that reflect respect for clients and their families, co-workers, the schools, and the organization.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with school sites and community members to expand and maintain school-linked collaborative efforts.
  • Provide medically necessary services in appropriate settings including the family when possible.

The starting salary for each application will be based on degree level, licensure, and years of experience for the position. The wage range for an Unlicensed/Clinical Trainee is $23.5577-$34.615. The wage range for a Mental Health Professional is $57,000-$74,400.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy;

Mental Health Professional- OPMH: 

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity in our St. Cloud Outpatient Mental Health (OPMH) Department for a Full-Time Mental Health Professional. The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for treating clients with emotional, behavioral and mental disorders within a family driven and trauma informed framework.

The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide therapy to individuals, family and groups in an out-patient setting

Mental Health Practitioner – Crisis: 

Do you have a passion for providing supports to those diagnosed with a mental health disorder or looking to gain experience? If so, Central Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) is a great place for you to begin or grow your career working with those diagnosed with a mental health disorder. We have opportunities to support a high volume of clients with complex diagnoses and co-occurring disorders as a Mental Health Practitioner or Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker in our Crisis program. CMMHC provides home, community and residential-based mental health services to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis in a four-county area (Stearns, Benton, Sherburne & Wright), with Crisis offices located in St. Cloud and Monticello. We support programs on a 24/7 basis, this position would work:

  • Full-time with an every other weekend rotation. This position would start on the evening shift with potential in the future, to have a mix of shifts or move to mornings in line of seniority if desired.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT): Team Lead: 

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity for a Full-Time Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Lead on our St Cloud ACT Team. The ACT Team Lead establishes, administers, and directs the ACT team, a self-contained clinical team which assumes responsibility for directly providing needed treatments, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental illness; supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team to ensure services are provided in a trauma-informed, recovery-orientated framework; and function as a practicing clinician on the team. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Performs duties as outlined by The Pact Model, Minnesota Statutes, The Measure of Assertive Community Treatment Fidelity (TMACT) and other Assertive Community Treatment evidence-based literature.
  • Must be available to provide overall clinical oversight to the ACT team after regular business hours and on weekends and holidays.
  • Maintains optimal program staffing level; hire, oversee staff training.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for program staff, address performance issues.
  • Provides trainings to ensure DHS requirements are continuously met, documented completely and within required deadlines.

The wage range for this position is $68,000-$81,600 annually. The starting salary for each application will be based on years of experience for the position.

Qualifications

  • Licensed as an LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT.
  • Must be a licensed mental health professional who is qualified under Minnesota Rules, part 9505.0371, subpart 5, item A. Individuals who are not licensed but who are eligible for licensure and are otherwise qualified may also fulfill this role but must obtain full licensure within 24 months of assuming the role of team leader.
  • Three or more years of post-graduate clinical service with adults who have severe mental illness, within a mental health setting, community mental health service is preferred

Mental Health Practitioner – LPN: 

Crisis Services is expanding our adult residential unit! We are looking for kind and compassionate LPN’s to work alongside us and help grow our program. Central Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) is a great place for you to begin or grow your career working with those diagnosed with a mental health disorder. We have opportunities to support a high volume of clients with complex diagnoses and co-occurring disorders as a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Crisis program. The LPN must also be a Mental Health Practitioner. The LPN is responsible for providing mental health treatment services and basic nursing care for clients in acute mental health crisis. The position works under the supervision of a Physician or Crisis Qualified Designated Registered Nurse (RN) and in conjunction with the Crisis Clinical Supervisor.  Services are delivered within a family driven, trauma informed framework.  The duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Interviews client about current problems, medications, and allergies and reviews medical record for pertinent previous and current information;
  • Completes focused nursing assessment under the direction of a Crisis Qualified Designated RN;
  • Record and inventory all medications brought in for Crisis clients;
  • Take vital signs as needed;
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the Medical Director and/or consulting physician;
  • Perform basic health screenings, including screening for risk of self-harm, in coordination with the Crisis staff;
  • Deliver treatment services such as skills groups related to healthy habits and mental health education;
  • Participate in an infection control nursing consultation group;
  • Admit, transfer and discharge clients under the direction of the Crisis Qualified Designated RN and Crisis Clinical Supervisor alongside a crisis team member;

  • Full-time with every other weekend rotation. This position would be AM or PM Hours with 2 days per pay period mid shifts depending on preference.

The wage range for this position is $19.50-$23.40. The starting salary for each application will be based on years of experience for the position.

Program Manager: Care-Navigator Outreach Specialist: 

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity for a full time Care Navigator Outreach Specialist Program Manager. The Program Manager provides oversight, direction, and leadership to the Care Navigator Outreach Specialists. The Care Navigator Outreach Specialist Program Manager reports to the Health Integration Director.

The duties may include, but are not limited to:

Program management and supervision:

  • Familiarizes self with Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) requirements.
  • Updates Policies and Procedures as needed.
  • Maintains optimal program staffing level; hire, oversee staff training.

Direct service:

Administrative and professional responsibilities:

  • Audits and evaluates program progress reports to determine if the program is achieving its objectives; conduct client surveys and review program records and files to measure outcomes and compliance with best practice standards.
  • Manages office space utilization for site programs and staff.
  • Assists in preparation of an annual department budget and monitor budget status regularly.

The wage range for this position is $49,500-$59,400 annually. The starting salary for each application will be based on years of experience for the position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field; with Mental Health Practitioner status preferred.

The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring all accounts are processed through insurance properly, and patient accounts are paid in a timely manner. This position is responsible for accuracy, efficiency, and retrieval of processed data. The duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and submit claims to third-party insurance carriers;
  • Process claim rejections by correcting necessary information and resubmitting claims;

Nursing Position (LPN or RN): Detox: 

Central MN Mental Health Center has a full time nursing position in our Detox program (RN or LPN). The nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating nursing care for detox clients within a family driven, trauma informed framework. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Assesses incoming referrals for meeting admission criteria for detox unit.
  • Perform basic health screenings, screening for risk of self harm, monitor for safe detoxification, and monitor for potential withdrawal using evidence-based assessment tools.
  • Obtain vital signs including oximeters.

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity for two Full-Time Mental Health Professional: Co-Responders in our Crisis Program. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a licensed mental health professional to help CMMHC and its partner law enforcement agencies grow the regional footprint of this innovative and highly successful model of bringing mental health expertise in the community to people who are experiencing mental health crisis. The Co-Responders are embedded in a law enforcement setting (either Stearns County Sherriff’s Department or Greater St Cloud municipal police department(s)) to respond with crisis intervention trained officers to behavioral health related 911 calls.  The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Respond to Behavioral Health related 911 calls with police officer and provide on scene behavioral health evaluations/problem identification, crisis interventions, crisis treatment/care plans and make referrals which are consistent with the identified needs in the plan of care and/or by the client;
  • Provide follow up as needed to individuals served via phone calls, messages, and on-site visits (accompanied by police officer as needed);

  3.  Has 18 hours of documented field supervision by a mental health professional or mental health practitioner during the first 160 hours of contact work with recipients, and at least six hours of field supervision quarterly during the following year;

  5. Has 15 hours of additional continuing education on mental health topics during the first year of employment and 15 hours during every additional year of employment;

Central MN Mental Health Center has a part time nursing position in our Focus XII program (RN or LPN). The nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating nursing care for Focus XII clients within a family driven, trauma informed framework.  This position is a maximum of (12) hours of in-office work per week.  This is to ensure that all medical charts are regularly reviewed, allows time for clients to discuss current medical issues with the nurse and for the nurse to stay abreast of all medication and medical changes and updates that occur on a regular basis. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

Provides direct care of client:

  • Performs assessments of the client’s health, risk of suicide, tuberculosis risk assessment, and withdrawal symptoms; review and input current medications as prescribed by their physician.
  • Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the consulting physician; administers and maintains accurate count of controlled substances;
  • Documents client’s medications, treatment progress and overall health conditions in charts; Audits charts for accuracy;
  • Reports significant changes in client’s physical and mental condition to the Program Manager; assists with scheduling of medical visits;
  • Reports possible suicidal or assaultive ideations, vulnerable adult and child maltreatment incidents to the Program Manager.
  • Ensure that all medical charts are regularly reviewed, allows time for clients to discuss current medical issues with the nurse and for the nurse to stay abreast of all medication and medical changes and updates that occur on a regular basis.

Administrative Duties:

  • Processes oral, written and telephone orders from the physician;

Certified Nursing Assistant-Chemical Dependency Technician– Focus XII:

Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity in our Focus XII program for a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant/Chemical Dependency Technician. The CNA-CDT provides ongoing support and supervision to clients. The Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Report changes in client’s physical and mental health to RN, Program Coordinator or their Counselor
  • Monitor client behaviors – provide therapeutic intervention when required.
  • Respond to residents’ questions and concerns on an as needed basis
  • Administrative duties – including but not limited to maintaining ethical and confidentiality standards set forth by this agency (HIPPA) and developing competency in the carrying out of intake/orientation procedures
  • Attend quarterly staff meetings and trainings

The wage range for this position is $15.00-$18.00. The starting salary for each application will be based on years of experience for the position.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be 18 years of age and free of problematic substance use (for minimum of one-year preceding employment) and as a condition of ongoing employment.
  • Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Maintain current CPR and Frist Aid certification

  • Every other weekend, Overnight shift. The hours for this position would be 10:30pm-6:30am, Friday and Saturday.
  • We offer shift differentials for PM’s, overnights, and weekends
