CMMHC will have a resource information table at this event located right outside the gym. Attendees of the basketball game are encouraged to wear green for mental health awareness if possible. Parenting in 2023 | Big Lake School District

Our very own Dr. Steven Loos will be presenting this Monday, January 30th on Parenting in 2023. The Big Lake School District is inviting the community members to a night for the whole family. This first time event is free to attend and include a family dinner. After the meal, parents/guardians are welcome to learn new strategies to refresh their parenting toolbox through a presentation by Steven Loos, Psy. D, LP (Chief Clinical Officer at CMMHC). Kids will engage in fun supervised activities in the gym, library and cafeteria. CMMHC will also have a resource table at this event with informative handouts and fun promo items to share with event attendees.

Community Screening of Angst | Buffalo Strong Week

Buffalo High School 877 Bison Boulevard, Buffalo, MN

Dr. Steven Loos Psy.D, LP (Chief Clinical Officer at CMMHC) will be participating in a panel event on Thursday, February 9th at the Community Screening of Angst. Angst is a film that explores anxiety, its causes, effects and what we can do about it. Angst features candid interviews with kids and young adults who suffer from anxiety and what they’ve learned. Mental health experts address the causes of anxiety and its sociological effects, as well as help, resources, and tools. Post film there will be a panel discussion with area mental health professionals.

Transition Trek

We are excited to participate in Transition Trek again on Thursday, April 27th starting at 6 pm. For over a decade now this event has provided students and their families as they prepare for the journey of transition with local resources who are here to help. This event will be set up with resources and support to individuals and families who with disabilities of all ages. The event is open to anyone in the public who is interested.
