Certified Peer Recovery Specialists

Non-clinical specialists provide support and hope to individuals and families by sharing their stories and serving as role models for wellness by offering the perspective of similar significant life experiences.

Certified Peer Recovery Specialists have the lived experience of someone with a chemical illness and, from that vantage point, help you discover your strengths and develop your own recovery goals. The specialist's personal story and path to recovery provide tools, skills, and information to share with those going through similar struggles. CMMHC’s Peer Recovery Specialists work with both individuals and families.
