Open Access

(Open Access is available at our Elk River and Saint Cloud Offices)

This service enables individuals to walk in without an appointment to see a therapist for a comprehensive evaluation. Upon arrival, clients meet with a Care Navigator Intake Specialist (CNIS) to complete the necessary paperwork. A therapist then conducts a comprehensive evaluation (this may take up to 1 ½ hours). Follow-up appointments are scheduled with a therapist as needed.

If multiple clients show up, they are seen in the order of arrival at the office. They still meet with the CNIS to prepare for the appointment and are given an appointment time – waiting in the lobby or returning at the appointed time. If there are no therapists available, clients are scheduled for the next opening at one of our offices or may choose to come back during the next Open Access Day to jump to the front of the line.

Qualifications for Services

Clients must be age 14 or above. We honor most insurance except for Medicare, TriWest, Tricare, Champ VA, South County, Humana, Medicare Replacement plans, or Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
