Early Intervention Family Services

Early Intervention provides family outpatient services to adults with mental health concerns who are parenting children under age six supporting a healthy parent – child relationship and the development of each child. With supports that focus on early development and attachment issues, inventions include:

Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
Attachment Bio-Behavioral Catch-up (ABC)
Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT)
Mental Health Consultation

Monique received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Dakota and her master’s degree in Applied Psychology from St. Cloud State University. Her experience includes working in residential and day treatment for children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties. Monique’s current role at CMMHC is as an Outpatient Therapist, providing therapy services to children, families, and adults. She also provides mental health consultation in child care, Head Start, and county public health agencies working with early childhood families. Monique is involved with the Wright County Child Safety Committee and the Wright County Community Action Head Start Health Advisory Committee.

Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and her master’s degree and doctoral degree from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Youth Consultation Service Institute for Infant and Preschool Mental Health in New Jersey and her post-doctoral fellowship at Brakins Consulting & Psychological Services, LLC. Before joining the CMMHC team, Laura worked in many settings including therapeutic preschools, elementary and junior high schools, outpatient clinics, and private practice. She is currently the Clinic Manager for our Monticello office.

Lexi completed her bachelor’s degree at the College of Saint Benedict and her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Cloud State University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), ECMH-E® Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsed, and is studying to become certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Before joining the CMMHC team, Lexi worked with children in the classroom and in-home settings. She is currently an Outpatient Therapist.

Mary has a master’s degree in Community Counseling from St. Cloud State University. Before joining the CMMHC team in 1994, she was a Family Therapist at Gerard In-Home Treatment Program. She is currently the Early Intervention Family Services Clinical Supervisor, providing consultation and training to other community providers and agencies.

Allison earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Cloud State University. Before joining CMMHC, she worked in a variety of mental health settings. Allison is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), has completed training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), and is studying to become certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Her position at CMMHC is Outpatient Therapist.

Tylor completed her bachelor's degree in Community Psychology at Saint Cloud State University and her Master of Arts in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. She has previous experience as a Guardian ad Litem working with families involved in child protection cases and family files. Tylor has also worked in a behavioral health clinic providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her position at CMMHC is as a Mental Health Professional.
