Medication Assisted Recovery

(Commonly known as MAT services)

CMMHC’s philosophy is that addiction is a chronic disease which negatively impacts a person’s ability to function optimally. CMMHC, in partnership with Innovatel telepsychiatry, have developed a telehealth MAT Program whose overall goal of medication assisted treatment is improved quality of life and freedom from illicit drugs.

Medication Assisted Recovery refers to managing the symptoms of withdrawal from addictive substances so that individuals can participate more fully in their recovery or using medications in the long term to maintain recovery through the use of medication along with other essential components of recovery.
