Adult Day Treatment
Always mindful of Recovery (AMORE) is group therapy that falls under DT.
DT serves adults with a primary diagnosis of serious or serious and persistent mental illness (who may also have co-occurring chemical use diagnosis or brain injuries). The training enables individuals to live in the community with improved functioning at work, school, and in social relationships.
Therapeutic interventions may include:
Group psychotherapy
Integrated co-occurring diagnoses strategies
Individualized treatment planning
Mind and body integration strategies
Enhanced Illness Management and Recovery
Social skills education and practice
A multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals and practitioners provides treatment under the guidance of a qualified clinical supervisor at our Buffalo and St. Cloud offices.
An ongoing program within DT is:

Group therapy for those phasing out of the Adult Day Treatment Program. Participation is also available to individuals who have not been in DT but may benefit from a group format in addition to individual therapy.

Brandon Stavish

Brandon has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Alcohol & Drug studies from Minnesota State University Mankato and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Cloud State University. Before joining the CMMHC team, Brandon worked in the Mental Health Unit of the St. Cloud hospital. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the St. Cloud Adult Day Treatment program.

Cathryn completed a master’s in Social Work at St. Cloud State University and is a Licensed General Social Worker (LGSW). She was the Director of Youth Development at a community development agency and worked in Human Resource Management before joining CMMHC. Her varied experience includes working with victims of domestic violence, sex trafficking, county agencies, group homes, people with developmental disabilities, and those with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Her current role at CMMHC is as a Day Treatment Program Clinical Trainee Therapist.

Ashley completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at St. Cloud State University. She also has a Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC). Before joining the CMMHC team in 2012, Ashley worked in the Adult Behavioral Health Unit of the St. Cloud hospital. She serves as the Program Manager for our St. Cloud and Buffalo Adult Day Treatment Programs as a Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy (BBHT) approved Supervisor. Ashley is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the St. Cloud Adult Day Treatment program and also the lead therapist for the AMORE group.

Lauren completed a Master of Science degree in Social Work through Saint Cloud State University and holds a licensure in social work, currently pursuing her LGSW. Prior to working at CMMHC, Lauren worked in banking for four years. Since joining CMMHC, Lauren has held positions in Day Treatment and Crisis and is currently a Clinical Trainee in Day Treatment and Mental Health Practitioner with the Crisis team.
