Suicide Prevention Education is offered as part of Crisis Services at Central Minnesota Mental Health Center in the form of:

~ Community presentations 
~ Postvention consultations

~ Classroom presentations for 7th-12th grade students 
~ QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide prevention training 

~ Educational presentations on the nation-wide suicide prevention text line, Crisis Text Line

Meet Our Providers

Ashley Nieland – BA, MHP

Ashley completed her bachelor’s degree in community psychology from St. Cloud State University and went on to gain practitioner status while working on the inpatient Adolescent Mental Health Unit at the St. Cloud Hospital. She is currently our Suicide Prevention Regional Coordinator through our Crisis Response Team. Ashley enjoys educating community members on Suicide Prevention through trainings, school presentations for 7th-12th graders, community presentations, and advocacy at local events. Her passion and relational approach in public speaking activates a willingness in community members to engage in conversation around a difficult subject matter.
