Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) Scheduling is a priority appointment option designed to ensure timely access to mental health services for individuals experiencing urgent emotional distress or the impact of a significant life event.
This scheduling option is available for individuals who are:
- Experiencing a personal or community-related tragedy
- Recently discharged from a hospital or emergency department
- Struggling with suicidal thoughts or severe emotional distress
- Facing other urgent mental health concerns that require prompt support
Through TIC Scheduling, CMMHC works to provide the first available appointment—typically within 1–2 business days—so individuals can connect with care as quickly as possible.
